Ronald, All,
Since I am one of the co-authors on the document, you might guess that I do
support it;) However, let me just emphasize that point. I think the
described naming system is simple and does allow for people to take care of
their immediate implementation needs as well as have a framework to build on
for future needs and capabilities.
I am sure it does not have all the formatting and embedded information that
some may desire, and maybe too much structure for others. However, in my
thinking it captures a good balance at this time.
